Jonathan Todd is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. Jonathan received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida, and later pursued his Master’s degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.
At the start of his clinical experience, Jonathan started working with residents at a homeless shelter in downtown Dallas. Through this experience, he developed skills in working with crisis management, complex trauma, family conflict, substance abuse issues, and mental health diagnoses. Throughout the years Jonathan has continued to develop his passion for working with marginalized and underserved groups, and has worked with agencies that serve the homeless community, HIV/AIDS community, and families fleeing domestic violence.
Jonathan focuses on working with teens, adults, and couples, and has a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ population. The primary goal of counseling for Jonathan is to walk alongside people that are in the courageous pursuit of positive change through providing consistent encouragement, and ethical care. Jonathan seeks to provide a safe environment for clients to explore anything they want to bring into the therapy room.
In addition to working with clients, Jonathan works as an internship site supervisor at Dallas Life and Southern Methodist University for master level counseling students completing their clinical coursework.
