Karlos Lyons, MA, LPC

Karlos Lyons is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He brings experience working within the traditional outpatient setting and the behavioral health sphere of partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming. As a licensed professional counselor, Karlos takes a holistic approach to therapy, and his specialties are men's issues, anxiety & stress management, addictions and substance abuse, identity formation, adolescence (ages 15- 18), couples therapy, and faith-based counseling. He integrates various counseling modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness & Somatic Experiencing, Existential Therapy, and Brief Solution Focused interventions.Karlos graduated with his Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Marketing from Belhaven University. Karlos is proud to be a part of the Davis Counseling Center and is passionate about the therapeutic, healing process for his clients. In his free time, Karlos enjoys spending time with his wife of 11 years, eating new cuisine, traveling, and working out.
